KryoVault System, 19,500 Vials Polycarbonate Package System

Product Number: KVP-1 PS

The ABS KryoVault is engineered to provide cryogenic temperatures throughout the tank well below the critical -135°C range. With only a few inches of liquid, vapor temperatures approaching the actual -196°C temperature of LN₂  can be maintained at the highest shelf. The unique restricted neck opening design, with double-hinged lid, brings liquid consumption to one of the lowest rates in the industry. 

Every KryoVault System comes standard with: 6ft. stainless-steel armor-plated transfer hose, 1/3 parts and labor warranty, casters, folding step, inventory carousel, keyed lid lock, LN2 measuring rod, flat stainless-steel work surface and the Sentry Plus LN₂ Controller.

KryoVault package systems include: KryoVault Tank, Sentry Plus LN₂ Controller stainless steel rack inventory system, transfer hose, CryoGloves, LN₂ measuring rod, and either fiberboard boxes (25 cell, 81 cell, 100 cell, or custom) or polycarbonate boxes (25 cell, 81 cell, or 100 cell).

What's the vial capacity of the KVP-1 PS?

The system holds 19,500 2 ml vials. It also has a 250 ml bag capacity of 500.

How much liquid nitrogen does it hold and how fast does it evaporate?

LN2 capacity is 371 liters, with a vapor phase capacity of 36. The static evaporation rate is 8 liters per day, which is nominal and may be affected by contents, atmospheric conditions, container history and manufacturing tolerances.

It ships with (7) 13-2 Tower Racks holding 13 boxes per rack, (4) 13-2 Mini Tower Racks holding 13 mini boxes per rack, (91) 81/100 cell polycarbonate boxes, and (52) 25 cell mini polycarbonate boxes.
