The Premier Freestanding Undercounter Freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display, allow for precise temperature control, verification and recovery versus mechanical style thermostats. Critical samples and supplies are security backed with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms

DISCLAIMER: Auto defrost freezers incorporate an electric heater installed on the evaporator that assist in the removal of the frost and ice. Although the heater helps speed up the frost and ice removal, it can raise the temperatures within the freezer

The Freestanding models (“UCFS”) require 4” of clearance around back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Improper installation will void the warranty and will lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure.

Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

What temperature range can I set this freezer to?

The adjustable operating temperature range is -15°C to -25°C. It uses a microprocessor temperature controller with a digital temperature display.

How does the auto defrost affect internal temperatures?

The auto defrost cycle runs every 6 hours. Max air temp reaches +4.34°C in an empty freezer and -2.89°C in a loaded freezer, while max sample temp reaches -4.76°C empty and -9.58°C loaded.

What clearance does the freestanding model need?

The UCFS freestanding model requires 4" of clearance around the back and sides for proper ventilation. Improper installation will void the warranty and can lead to temperature issues, overheating and possible failure.
