Auto-Defrost Freezers are ideal for industrial, clinical, or research laboratory requirements. Designed to provide dependable, energy-efficient performance, all units are manufactured with CFC-free high-density urethane foam cabinet and door insulation to maintain temperature stability.

Corepoint® Scientific Plasma Freezers or Blood Bank Freezers are designed in accordance with FDA listed Class II medical devices. In addition, plasma freezers also conform to the requirements set forth by AABB for the refrigerated cold storage of blood-based products. Backed by optimal temperature control and EPA SNAP compliant refrigerants, these high-performance units protect blood, prevent waste, and allow for peak delivery. Plasma freezers utilize smart controllers and feature a full array of alarms, LED interior lighting, stainless steel interiors, sliding drawers and probe access port.

Flammable Storage Freezers Meet NFPA and OSHA guidelines 45 and 70 for the refrigerated storage of flammable (volatile) materials in general laboratory work areas. There are no electrical components located in the interior of the unit and the compressor’s electrical components have been sealed in a vapor-proof enclosure for additional safety.

Explosion proof freezers meet NFPA and OSHA guidelines for Hazardous Location, Class 1, Division II, Groups C & D guidelines. (Units are not intended for use in general clinical or research laboratories.) All spark generating electrical components and connections (compressor, thermostat) are isolated and sealed in vapor-proof enclosures. Electrical wiring is hardwired for additional safety measures.

Manual Defrost Freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller, which allows for precise temperature control, recovery and maintenance versus mechanical style thermostats. Critical samples and supplies are security backed with an extensive package of temperature security and alarms. Manual defrost units also feature insulating inner doors and a manual defrost operating system to limit product-damaging temperature spikes.

Stainless Steel Pharmacy Freezers feature a microprocessor temperature controller, allowing for precise temperature control, recovery and maintenance versus mechanical style thermostats.
