How does the Controlled Auto Defrost work on the freezer?

The freezer uses a patented Controlled Auto Defrost with an auto defrost cycle every 6 hours at a set point of -11°F / -24°C. Max air temp in an empty freezer is 5°F (-15°C) and in a loaded freezer is 3°F (-16°C).

What are the electrical requirements?

The unit is 115V, 60 Hz, drawing 2.3 Amps for the refrigerator and 1 Amp for the freezer, with 1/3 HP refrigerator and 1/8 HP freezer compressors. Please note this unit requires 2 outlets.

How many shelves does it come with and are they adjustable?

The refrigerator has six adjustable shelves and the freezer has two adjustable shelves, each with a guard rail on the back to prevent product from being pushed against the back wall. Both sections also have a bottom footed shelf to allow air circulation.

It includes audible and visual high and low temperature alarms plus remote alarm contacts for both the refrigerator and freezer, a microprocessor controller with digital display and sample simulated probe, and two probe access ports (3/8″).
