These premier upright refrigerators are designed in accordance with the NSF/ANSI 456 Standard for Vaccine Storage. Refrigerators protect pharmaceuticals at optimal temperatures, preventing waste and allowing for peak delivery.

These glass door refrigerators utilize microprocessor controllers and feature temperature alarms, remote alarm contacts, LED interior lighting, and probe access ports. American Biotech Supply Vaccine Storage Refrigerators utilize HFC-free refrigerant for environmental health and energy efficiency.

The acceptable temperature ranges for vaccine storage are 36°F to 46°F (or 2°C and 8°C) in the refrigerator and -58°F and 5°F (or -50°C and -15°C) in freezers.

What's the temperature setpoint range on this refrigerator?

The setpoint range is 1°C to 10°C. The setpoint must remain unaltered from the factory setting to remain compliant with NSF/ANSI 456 Standard for Vaccine Storage requirements.

What does NSF/ANSI 456 certified mean, and who is it for?

NSF/ANSI 456 is the vaccine storage standard from NSF International, which sets performance and construction requirements for vaccine refrigerators and freezers. A certified unit like this one is tested by an independent third-party lab under protocols that go far beyond those for a standard pharmacy refrigerator: vaccine simulation devices are placed at worst-case positions inside the unit and temperatures are recorded 30 to 90 times faster than a typical data logger.
