What temperature range can I set on this freezer?

The adjustable temperature range is -27°C to -33°C, controlled by a microprocessor temperature controller with variable frequency compressor control.

How much clearance does the unit need, and what are the room conditions for use?

The equipment requires 4" of clearance around the back and sides for proper ventilation; improper installation will void the warranty and lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure. It is for indoor use only, +18°C to +26°C (+65°F to +78°F), <70% RH.

What alarms are included?

It has adjustable alarm volume, audible and visual high and low temperature alarms, sensor error alarm, power failure alarm, door ajar alarm, low battery alarm, alarm validation (audible, visual, and remote alarm), and alarm mute with ring back. Remote alarm contacts are also provided for an external connection.

What are the electrical requirements?

The freezer draws 3.3 Amps and uses a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 6 ft long cord. The facility must provide 110–120V AC, a 15A breaker, and a NEMA 5-15 receptacle.

It uses EPA SNAP compliant R290 propane refrigerant with a hermetic, variable speed compressor. Defrost is manual, and defrosting must be performed periodically to prevent severe ice build-up.

Performance claims are based on testing at 22°C ambient using unbuffered air temperatures in an empty freezer at steady state operation.
