What temperature range can I set on the ABT-VS-LP-23?

The adjustable temperature range is 2°C to 15°C, controlled by a microprocessor temperature controller with variable frequency compressor control. The display is C°/F° switchable with a resolution of 0.1°C/0.2°F.

How tight is the temperature control inside the cabinet?

Maximum temperature variation in cabinet air is +/- 1.5°C, and stability using the simulator ballast is +/- 0.3°C. These values are based on an empty chamber at steady state with no door openings; loading, door openings, and ambient conditions will affect performance.

What clearance does the unit need for installation?

The refrigerator requires a minimum 2" of clearance around the back and sides for proper ventilation, and more if it is next to heat-rejecting equipment. Improper installation will void the warranty and can lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating, and possible failure.

What alarms are included and can they tie into our building monitoring?

The unit has audible and visual high/low temperature alarms, a sensor error alarm, a power failure alarm, and a door ajar alarm. Remote alarm contacts are provided for external alarm connection, and a battery backup supports the controller temperature display and alarms only (no cooling).
